Ok... I know exactly what you mean. Was not exactly sure if that was what you meant. Yes i have been to those type of churches. Still not my thing..My thing is to sit and wonder at the complexity of a being or beings that put the blueprint forth for our beautiful planet, our solar system and our entire universe. I am under no illusion that I have not a clue as to the true and full meaning of this. Not even a flash of the true complexity or understanding and never will. At least on this part of the journey or this so called plain(plane?) of existence.
In a way it does unnerve me that I have always used the saying of "stepping over" as an example of death. Never paid much attention to it being the quote of JJ till I think Myra focused on it. She didn't point it out I just caught it in something she referred to. Not going to change it now. I still think it does apply. I hope. I feel people who are more giving of themselves internally have an easier time facing our ultimate transformation. I could be fooling myself but that is ok too. I mean internally by our things we do for others are truly from our goodness. We just do things for others because they are there to do. And we do it with a happy heart. You should not need any type of recognition or acclaim. Just the feeling of well done fellow human. No reward from god like heaven or not going to hell or what ever other bribe we need to feel to feel better about life after death. I say there is no death just a transformation to another place or time or form of existence that our energy goes to. I hope this does not make you think I'm some new age nut case type. I just believe we need to have a personal relationship with the divine in whatever shape or form or nonbeing that we think runs the show. It just can't be mass produced and is different in each individual. I have never found that I need others approval for MY faith to work for me. Have to run to the store. I know I got way off track here from our original dialog. Will get back to other post when I return.
Also, What do you think? What form of praise do you follow or none at all.

I totally agree!

But on your other statement "I know I got way off track here from our original dialog".Naaaaaa..i think tusnelda would agree..there is no 'original dialog' here.We post about any thing we like here. :)

Exactly - and have fun with it!

Hi Ms Black,
It has been a great gardening week. Will get back to you in a few days. Have also looked into Church of the Golden Rule. Not much yet. I had no idea there were so many of these places around. never too old to learn something new. Not just sitting around. It gets HOT here(100-115 normal) in a month or so. So I try to get as much done this time of year as I can. Planting time. So talk with you in a few. Thanks for your encouragement. :D

I doubt I will be writing a report on any of the issues. I am a poor writer to say the least. Also very undisciplined when it comes to my time. Just keeping up my civic duties I have laid out for myself keeps me on my toes. Now it is spring and the dirt play calls to me. I just love the creativity of working in the earth. Within a short time we can admire a little hard work in beautiful flowers or enticing goods on the plate. Also getting very paranoid about the food supply available at the grocery store. Going to get some chickens this year for eggs and may try to eat one. I have never been able to eat any animal I raised. I have had no problem eating meat though. If I raised it at least it would be treated with some dignity and caring. I may end up with more pet chickens than meat on the table. I would definitely have to have someone else kill them. Want to do a pig but if I can't kill a chicken what will I do with a hog? So squeamish. Becoming a vegetarian is looking better all the time. Not far from that now. Now I see mad cow in the news. Have been purchasing organic milk, cheese, butter for a while now as I advise everyone to do. Saw a 4lb chicken at the store and they wanted 11.00 for it. The organic one was over 15.00. I am just a real cheapskate when it comes to shopping. 15.00 for a chicken. Too much. Well the chicken stayed at the store and I made bean and cheese tostadas with a green salad. I would love some fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Dream on.
I put in my okra, 2types of cukes, potatoes, onions and radishes. Divided my oregano and sage. Scoping out the medicinal herbs and deciding where to group these at. I needed way more plantain this year, stevia also. Ran short on lots of herbs as I'm trying to use whats in my yard instead of a store. Just have to plant more than prior years as I try to shift from store purchasing to natural home grown goods.
Guess it will rain today. Saves me $ when it does. Darn watering costs a fortune. Trying to find an inexpensive hand pump. Darn well is 247ft down. Long ways if I lose the prime and have to pump by hand. Never know what to expect anymore from the gov't. The conserves have gone totally crazy. Just seems very unstable for the future. Thank the Great Spirit that I'm not young any more. Very unsettling times. Just me being paranoid again. Well I'm babbling again. Sorry. If it rains I may have a little time to read up on FD. They just don't put enough hrs in the day.

I have been very busy. Go here and there taking care of social commitments. Have a friend coming from The City tomorrow. Going to visit my brother on Saturday. That gives me today and Thursday to finish screening my porch and work on the drip system. Have got to go grocery shopping soon. Bummer. Just not enough hours. The older I get the faster time goes by. Strange phenomenon. I haven't forgotten any of this just too busy to put any thought into any reply. Talk w/u soon.
